Tutoring Policy

By booking a lesson with Bloxademy, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making any reservation.

1. NO REFUNDS

a. Once a lesson is booked and confirmed, no refunds will be issued.

b. Please ensure your commitment before making a reservation.

2. MISSED LESSON POLICY

a. Students must join the scheduled lesson within 10 minutes of the listed start time. “Joining” means being present in the Google Meet link provided at booking.

b. Do not wait for a tutor to initiate contact or message through other platforms — use the provided link to join independently.

c. Failure to attend without prior notice or rescheduling will result in the session being marked as a no-show.

d. For no-shows, you will receive a credit equal to the value of the missed session via email (and Discord if on file).

e. Credits can be used toward another booking of equal or greater value — the difference must be paid at checkout.

f. A 3-strike policy is in effect: after 3 no-shows, the 4th will not qualify for credit, and the payment will be forfeited. After the 4th, your strike count resets.

g. If you believe your 4th no-show had a valid reason, you may request a one-time exception by emailing support@bloxademy.com. Exceptions are not guaranteed.

h. Lessons cannot be rescheduled or cancelled within 4 hours of their start time. Missing such lessons will be treated as a no-show.

3. LESSON ATTENDANCE RESTRICTIONS

a. Bloxademy reserves the right to restrict access to future lessons if frequent absenteeism impacts scheduling fairness for other clients.

4. CREDIT LIMITATIONS

a. Issued credits are non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash or any other form of currency.

b. Credits must be applied during the final step of booking. If the credit doesn't cover the full cost, the balance must be paid.

5. ROBUX PAYMENTS FOR CREDITS

a. Robux payments are final. Ensure you intend to use the purchased credit before making payment. No refunds are available for Robux transactions.

6. PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION

a. Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received.

b. Do not send manual or direct payments to personal accounts. Any such payments are not eligible for credit or refund.

7. REPORTING MALICIOUS CONTRACT BREACHES

a. Malicious or fraudulent breaches of these terms may be reported to relevant authorities, including HD.

8. SERVICE SUSPENSION

a. Bloxademy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services at any time, for any reason, including individual users.

9. COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL

a. While Bloxademy aims to respond promptly, replies outside lesson hours are not guaranteed.

b. Please be concise and direct in your messages. Do not ask to ask.

10. BENEFITS

a. Any included resources (lesson slides, worksheets, tools) are for your personal use only and must not be copied, distributed, or shared.

b. These extras are complimentary and not guaranteed; they may be removed or changed without notice.

11. TRANSACTIONS, RESCHEDULING, AND ATTENDANCE

a. Once a time is selected and payment is processed, your slot is guaranteed.

b. If Bloxademy is unable to attend, you will receive both a credit and a discount.

c. Refunds are not offered unless explicitly granted.

d. If Bloxademy must reschedule, you will be notified and your booking reassigned.

e. If the new time is not suitable, a refund will not be issued.

f. Lessons start and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late (within 10 minutes), the end time remains unchanged.

g. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in a no-show status and require rebooking.

h. Always use the Meet link from your confirmation email. Do not contact tutors on other platforms for access.

i. If your tutor is late, your full lesson time will begin once they arrive.

12. REJECTED LESSONS

a. If Bloxademy is unable to attend and rescheduling is not possible, the session will be marked as rejected, and a credit issued.

b. Rejected credits must be used for future bookings or applied toward larger invoices.

c. A rejected lesson refers to a missed or cancelled session by Bloxademy without adequate notice — distinct from no-shows or cancellations (see Section 14).

13. SERVICE MISUSE

a. Service misuse includes booking for any purpose outside of tutoring — such as trolling, harassment, or personal contact.

b. Bloxademy reserves the right to cancel bookings suspected of misuse, even if they haven’t occurred yet.

c. This includes patterns inferred from usernames, links, or prior behaviour.

14. STATUS DESCRIPTIONS

You can check the status of your lessons on your Appointments page:

  • Approved: The lesson is confirmed or completed.
  • Pending: Action is needed to proceed (e.g., payment or document submission).
  • Cancelled: The session will no longer take place. This may happen if:
  • You cancelled via the booking site
  • Bloxademy cancelled with notice
  • The session was flagged for misuse (see Section 13)
  • In all cases except misuse, a credit is issued. If cancelled by you, contact Bloxademy for credit instructions.
  • Rejected: Bloxademy failed to attend or cancelled with insufficient notice. A credit is automatically issued.
  • After 3 rejected lessons, the 4th earns you a gift card as an apology. The counter resets after the reward. Additional compensation may be offered if inconvenience is high.
  • No-show: You did not properly attend the session. See Section 2.
